With Turner Street Market closed for the month of January, I am baking at home. Quiche is a family favorite and this is a Broccoli Quiche. Still love to make my own crust and used 1/2c Crisoand 1/4 cup butter. Very please with the crust. However, I needed to blind bake a little longer because the bottom was not brown. But, It was not SOGGY!! I usually grate my own cheese but in this quiche, I used bagged pre-shredded cheese and it did clump as you can see.
Today for lunch we are having a tossed salad and I made Lavosh Crackers to go with the salad. How simple are these? Very! I purchased Lavosh from Lidl and used one sheet. The sheet was brushed with Olive Oil and for seasoning: salt. pepper, and sesame seeds. Using a pizza cutter, the lavosh sheet was cut into 16 pieces. Bake at 350 degrees until crisp, about 5-8 minutes.
