The ease of purchased Lemon Curd

Caught in a bind and need a quick fix? Purchase lemon curd. It is located in the jelly section of your grocery store. Whip 1 1/2 cups of whipping cream to barely stiff peaks. Fold in one jar of lemon curd, Voila, Lemon Mousse!!

For Prayer Breakfast, I prepared a Cream Cheese Braid with Lemon Curd using a jar rather than homemade..

For Prayer Breakfast, prepared tasty and beautiful Cream Cheese Danish. A laminated dough cut into strips and twisted and formed into a bun. The center was pressed down and filled with sweetened cream cheese.

Chef Clarkson of the CCC Culinary School is the featured chef for a Chinese New Year's Dinner at Turner Street Market. I volunteered to help with food prep. We made Chinese Steamed Buns for the dinner. The dinner was sold out and was a success. A wonderful to welcome the Year of the Pig!!
